It would be good if all the fonts were monospaced, not Comic Sans for comments.
Changing it is a pain, as I have to do it 5 times per language.

The problem with using different fonts/sizes is the Vertical Edge (margin) is
incorrect for comments, and makes things look annoying and inconsistent.

BOM ist no option for me. PHP files with BOM and header:-directives give an
error: "headers already sent", surprise. ANSI isn't an option for me, too, since
our projects are UTF8 coded and I mustn't mix file types.

My Workaround: First remove the BOM in a hex-editor and then deploy it. No fun
at all.

You can set that in the style configurator (Language -> Style Configurator).
You can select any font that is available on the system.

I tried to change a lot of files from UNIX to Windows format, so I tried to
record a macro.

But the macro did not record the "format change".

Do you know other way to change all files from Unix format to windows format ?
If not, it would be nice if it could be recorded in a macro :)

Would it be possible to indent the wrapped content for example 1 tab more than
the beginning of the wrapped line?
This would keep the structural documents more readable with wrap turned on.
Could also be just setting for the wrap functionality: default would keep it
in traditional way and indented wrap would indent the wrapped content.

VB handles this just fine, but doesn't have the rest of the stuff I'm looking
for. I program in a proprietary version of Basic, but some of the functions
are the same. For instance, LABEL: begins a subroutine. LABEL is arbitrary
and can be any non-reserved text, however every function starts with a label
followed immediately by a colon (:). They all end with RETURN. The VB does
this perfectly, but I can't reproduce it in a custom one and I'm not sure why.
Can anybody tell me why or how to make it work?

it works on a memory stick... there is a installation option that you will want
to change... it's the one that says not to use documents and settings
whatever...

works great on usb key - i've tried it.

This happened a lot at my last job. I had dual LCDs at work and only one at
home, so when I telecommuted with remote desktop, it'd get lost. A worse
problem
will occur if you undock the user defined dialog. It happens alot with a lot
of apps that store their own window settings instead of letting the OS manage
it. I'd almost hesitate to call it a bug, since the operating system allows
windows to be positioned outside the boundary of the current screen. I actually
take advantage of this to slide windows out of the way occasionally.

That said it might be a good idea for Notepad++ to check the current screen
rez on launch and reposition/resize accordingly.

Hi!

How do you Replace && with something else?

Maybe Like Subtracting somthing i was thinking of replacing && with a "-"
(subtraction sign) do you think that that would work?

Hey everyone,

While I'm writing python code, I get aggravated because the shell closes
before I can see what the errors/messages where. This forces me to open up my
shell, navigate to the directory, and then execute the script. I find that quite
inconvenient. So I figured out that entering "cmd.exe /k python
"$(FULL_CURRENT_PATH)"" will keep the shell open even after script execution
is completed. BTW, remove the outer quotes from the command and substitute
"python"
for whatever command you want to run.

            Cordially,
            John Tims

I agree with is kind of annoying, but you can always open styler.xml just
replace
"Comic Sans MS" with "", and as always I'd make a backup.

@Anonymous:
What version are you using? Since I can't find it in 4.1.2 and the User Defined
versions you could make arent' as good as the official ones.
