User can choose between both list in Preferences dialog.

It is so inconvenience when the list is long, and you known the item you want
is at the near end of the list. Can this feature (select from the end) be added

Hi,
I suggested a few days ago to add support for setting the main file, see
https://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=1805171&forum_id=331753
The following may provide an easy way to do it: Add some environment variables
like
MAINFILE_NAME
MAINFILE_PART
such that, upon selecting the MAINFILE from npp, you can define/run commands
from the run menu or from the console which always operate on the main file,
regardless of which file one is editing in the forward window at the time.
This would be a truly useful feature to have, and thnx to the developers for
all their hard work.
