Hi! I'm quite pleased with how the find in files work now in version 4.3. The
only problem I have is that it doesn't remember my last used filters and
directories
across Notepad++ restarts. That would finally make Notepad++ the only needed
tool for doing find in files searches.
One extra feature (that's not extremely important though) is to progressively
show the findings, and not only after the search has finished. That would make
Notepad++ useful even when searching large code directories.
Great product anyway! Thanks.

OK, understood about progress bar and root folder. Darn - I thought I'd found
new bugs :-)
Yes progress. You can get on with all the frills now :-)
Thanks for new version.

You have to look closer, half of the menu commands didnt work :P. They do now
though, so you're too late.
Also, considering it now takes about 10 seconds to load this page on a slower
PC (eg mine), I suppose it would be better to use the dedicated FTP_synchronize
forums here:
http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?forum_id=734873
That one also sends me emails when a new post arrives, from there you can also
reach the npp-plugins tracker for bug reports and other fancy goodies ;).
But you can stick around here if you want.
(And hey, I actually did get around the lockup bug at post 100 if you dont count
the feature request :P)

How do I pre-select text upon opening the file?
I have a program that searches log files for specific text (within another
application). I want to be able to pre-select the searched-for text upon
opening
Notepad++
I hope it will already do this, even if it has to use a find command to locate
the text itself.
Any help appreciated - [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I couldn't get as far as the menu commands remember :-P
OK, I'll post there as this is getting too long and it mostly seems to be us
two at the moment.
I won't say another word here...
:-)
