OK I guess the word "unacceptable" set a tone for us readers of your original
post dude. Seemed to me to be a complaint even if you didn't intend it.
Anyway, to move on from that, for your second point...
Are you talking about a Macro Manager style interface?

A simpler method is to use control+r, but with regex turned off. Replace
control+M
(newline) with ;control+M.
This method is probably easier to understand if you don't know regex, but can't
be retricted to only the lines with numbers.
You could use this method to do almost the whole operation. Replace control+M
with ;control+Mexec:. You'd end up with "exec: missing from the first line,
and an extra one after the last line.
See http://notepad-plus.wiki.sourceforge.net/FindReplaceNewlineHowTo for more
details.
I feel that the task of adding some text to the beginning or ending of each
line is so common that perhaps it would be useful to add this functionality
as a plugin.

Do you mean "reverse" order? Untick TextFX/TextFX Tools/Sort Ascending first,
then sort it.

hi
i can fully agree.
taskman says:
notepad++.exe CPU ~ 30% Mem 10.312 K
wowexec.exe (good old 16 bit :-)
after deleting the session entry (in %appdata%\Notepad++\session.xml) for the
cloned window you can restart npp again.
regards
marco

The next thing you'll want is the functionality to do something with numbers
only to be added as a plugin or so...
The regex for adding after the beginning or at the end of a line isn't
difficult.
The only "problem" here is to select lines with only a number.
I don't think it's a problem at all to have to enter this regex once and do
the job in one pass.
Forgetting to edit the first and last line manually is at a higher risk.
I would rather see the TextFX functions act on all lines, including the first,
and not removing the "CTRL+M" from the last line.

Yes, that's true. This bug was already known and reported, even on this very
same forum. How about "forum utilization"? I think it is also higher than it
could be, if bugs were only reported once, or at least in the same thread.

This is quite a common issue. I have the same in Delphi if I close a number
of tabs. Scrolling manually when there is at least one tab visible prevents
the tab bar from ending up empty.

And this link should work from now on:
http://freeweb.siol.net/rmihor/NppCCompletionPlugin.zip
The post with this link is actually newer than the post with 1.03 link., but
this forum seems to have an interesting way of ordering posts.
Regards,
Bostjan
