SO perhaps it's something to do with an MS update of late. The nppcm.dll is dated to about a year ago, 23/11/06 ... . So...I don't what else I can say now, but I will go now and look at the log file you posted...curious, all this. I'm going to copy this msg and the one about the log file to Don Ho...just to make sure he doesn't miss this. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. The default is white and I really hate this colour as a background colour (too bright /fatiguing for the eyes, if you have to work a whole day on your computer). Is this the "standard" NPP behaviour for PHP file extensions? Is there a difference in behavior for this sequence depending on the "remember last operation directory" setting? ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. The reason all the dialogs do not support unicode characters is because notepad has been build in ANSI (probably without DBCS), so the only part that supports unicode is the scintilla part. This is the reason notepad++ is not able to open file with a unicode name. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum.
