It is available, but you should enable this feature in Preferences->MISC.

Could you add such feature like close whole editor after last opened file(tab)
is closed.

The Scintilla component doesn't adjust the its width automatically, so it's
Notepad++'s responsibility to do it.
Due to the performance issue, the algo to adjust Scintilla width will be applied
once for each opened file.

I use the zip file. I went to the GUP project, downloaded the zip, placed the
contents in the update sub-directory of where I install NPP. I open the XML
file, but doesn't seem I need to edit anything. When I start npp, I don't see
anything about auto-update in the misc tab of preferences.

Just downloaded the latest version 4.6 hoping that an extended manifest would
make it more Vista compatible, but no way. So in order to edit files residing
in protected folders I need to right click Run as Administrator to not store
the files in the VirtualStore nirvana. With an AsInvoker manifest entry, one
would simply get the usual "cannot overwrite" message.
Are there any reasons for not extending the manifest? I'll do it myself here
with RessourceTuner if there aren't any objections.

You hvae to update to Notepad++ v4.6 zip package (only notepad++.exe will be
enogh)
All you have to do now is wait for next release.
Note that updater downloads the installer of the next release (if v4.61 or v4.7
is available), so it may not be what you want.

Hello,
I have a little problem, I've got a file with 100k lines and there are lines
like:
<something number="2000" id="312">
..
...
..
..
<something number="2001" id="312">
My problem is that i need to add to number="2000" 700 so it would be
number="2700"
and number="2001" would be number="2701". So you get the point.
And there are 4000 numbers i need to change so is there any way to do that
easily
with notepad++ replace?
