Well, I guess Homesite should remove this option, then, to make you use
Notepad++
which you find a good program.

Your reasoning is kinda strange to me.

Why do(n't) you want this? Do you want the string contents on the separate lines
to be marked with regular language syntax?

Seems to me a string is a string, otherwise your code language must be very
funny.

There are libraries to unzip files available. I'd think you could just assume
that you were unzipping into the directory above the updater directory as the
root for the unzip of a zip file. Wouldn't be elegant, but for lots of programs
it would work.

I did a "Find in files" and see results in the bottom pane. I click the "x"
in the upper right corner, but nothing happens. How do I close this pane?

Using 4.6

Windows XP SP2 all patches current. HP nc6400 laptop, 2G RAM. Upgraded from
N++ 4.4 to 4.5 now I get the error every time on startup. config.xml is not
0 bytes - it is about 4k.

I found that the copy of config.xml in the /Program Files directory was 5k,
but the one in the Applications folder was 0k. I copied the good one over the
0k, and now it works.

Great tool, but doesn't have one important functionality: multiline search and
replace ability. Current search dlg offers only inline search, but it's very
common need to search in file(s) something, that is divided into number of
lines.
So far i found that only EditPad have that functionality, but... well i like
NPP :) Tried to implement such functionality into source, but failed on
compilation
:(

And docking the search dlg into main window will be just perfect :)

It does have it.
You can use Ctrl+R, or at TextFX > TextFX Quick > Find/Replace.

Best wishes.

in xml syntax tag "t" (<t>) is not collapsable, otherwise in html it work
properly
