That's what I was afraid of.

It would be nice if uninstalling actually reverted the associations so that
I don't have to do it one by one. Jeez...

Hello

I don't think there's already a plugin existing for automatic alphabetical tab
ordering in Notepad++. If so could anyone tell me where to get it?

If not, how can I create plugins? In what language are they written?

Thank you! :)

Hello,

I am working with a language very similar to VB. Is it possible to copy the
VB settings to a new language, then edit that language, adding and removing
keywords/operators/etc. as necessary?

That would be a lot more efficient than creating the new language defs through
the User Define dialog.

Thanks for any advice...

CB

Hi!

I'm trying to do something that I don't know if it's posible:

I'm parsing cpinfo FW-1 file. I look for this text:

==============================================
CP components
==============================================

Is it posible to find with regexp every text like that:

[several=][New Line]
[TEXT][New Line]
[several=][New Line]?

I have used regexp like (I know it looks strange, just the concept): "[=]+$[a-Z,
]$[=]+$"

but no luck. Any idea? Is it posible?

Thanks.
Raul

Plugins are msotly written in C++, although probably any language goes as long
as you can interface it with notepad++' messqages and function, Its been done
in Delphi and I think theres a visual basic project.

It'd be pretty difficult though, tabordering is done internally by notepad++
and you need some serious hacks to get it to work (jsut chaging the tabs
probably
wont do entirely notepad will probably keep some internal state for them aswell,
check the notepad++ sourcecode i'd say)

Notepad++ is known to be unable to handle very large files (I dont know the
exact limits though, it even may or may not depend on the stylers used). Maybe
you can get lucky by disabling all the plugins (-noPlugins commandline option)
but I doubt it. Reported numerous times in the forums and bugtracker, try a
little search if interested

Same here. The "save" is never lit when I do a find/replace. Even if I do it
strictly by the keyboard.

Ok try this one
insert into ROLE_MODULE(ROLE_ID,MODULE_ID,ACCESS_TYPE_CODE) values(1536,17,'2');
-- Role:
insert into ROLE_MODULE(ROLE_ID,MODULE_ID,ACCESS_TYPE_CODE) values(1427,17,'0');
-- Role:
insert into ROLE_MODULE(ROLE_ID,MODULE_ID,ACCESS_TYPE_CODE) values(1597,17,'0');
-- Role:

search with
insert into ROLE_MODULE\(ROLE_ID,MODULE_ID,ACCESS_TYPE_CODE\) values\([0-9]+,

without the last comma it will work
with it will not?

Hey Stephen, I've never seen your message as I have just started using notepad++
:) This was the first thing that pissed me off and I fixed it.

As for the fix, the find dialog contains the code for re-running the search
and, as such, is only available after an initial search has been done. IE the
model is as follows: create the search dialog, run the first search, re-run
last search.

A better fix would be to refactor the code to de-couple search operations from
the dialog, but that would cause a LOT more changes. I'll look at that at some
stage, if Don accepts this fix. I have one more fix for incremental search in
my tree.

I know that this not is the better solution, but can help, until our colleague
resolve the problem!

Make a backup of the registry (only HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT), before of install the
icons.

- Click on Start/Run
- Type "regedit" (without quotes)
- right click in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT
- click in export and choose a local to save

Done, your information are safe!

If you want uninstall the icons, uninstall them! and after double click in the
backup file that you make.

Ok peoples?!
bye!

If you would check some former messages, you would find a link that may help
you.

You might find the following explanation there:

The $ symbol will match newlines, but they won't be replaced by the replace
string. They only help locate the position of it - you can only use them at
the end of the search string, because this command only searches within lines
in this mode.
