"SciTE is also a great project, I encourage you to use it rather than
Notepad++."

Or, you could go fuck yourself.

Or, someone who knows what they're talking about could try to answer my
question,
preferably without being an asshole while they're doing it.

I'm actually planning to switch over to an xml-based (or at least xml-like)
configuration file. I'll put the SimpleScript.xml file in the Config folder,
but for legacy purposes, I'll leave the SimpleScript.ini file in the plugins
folder as I phase it out, just to make the transition as easy as possible (I
don't want a dozen people on these forums asking why their list of favorite
scripts disappeared). Eventually I'll do away with the .ini file completely.

Say, I have been wanting to start using Notepad++ for a while mainly because
of its zooming feature...the only thing that has been keeping away from it is
the fact that I have been too lazy to go through the options/preferences and
change everything to reverse video.

Anyway, just for the heck of it, I now visited this site and found this vibrant
style and the screen shot...I would like to install this...how do I do about
it? I just downloaded the latest Notepad++ and Port_VibrantInk.zip with
stylers.xml,
replaced the one the came with Notepad++ with it, but I still don't see the
black background, yet...what's up?

In the while I've studied so I discovered that to have auto-completion I have
to create an api file. About words groups I still have doubts, please give
advices.

Watch out your mouth DoGooder.

If I were you who have a minimum of pride and who have the competence that you
described :
https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=4609182

I'll do the features I need myself instead of crying and whining in every
forum.
Obviously, you're not so competent as you described, and you're just a
"master/professional fword insulter"?

As Notepad++ project manager, I tell you that you're not welcome here.

Don

I'm not sure if this is a post that is more appropriate in the plugins thread
(textfx) but is it possible to preserve
the setting to autoclose a html/html tag within a php page. This effect works
great on a .htm or .html page, but I lose the
feature as soon as I turn it into a php page....

Can this be modified or fixed?

Firstly, this is indeed a great editor among others! Esp. the regex support!
Cheers for all AWKer or unixers. I immediately replaced the one (ConText) which
I used for many years.

BTW, here is my wishlist:

1. MassAutoIndent - AutoIndent the whole text (I always complaint to my boss
why the prev. programmer did not use tab or space to indent his codes)

2. Version control - link with VSS, or CVS, or a self-developed one

3. JScript, Delphi or unix script (tcsh, bash, csh, sh) supports

4. FTP publish function

5. Can AutoComplete enable if I press . (like in VS.NET)?

Cheers,
Kenneth.
