Then use Edit/Column Editor or alt+c to activate the column editor. You can use it to insert or overwrite columns of text. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. But then I suppose that is appropriate as you are a total nobody. I refuse to engage in a battle of wits with you as you would just end up dragging me down to your level then beating me with experience. I'll wait for someone with intelligence to respond before I return to this thread. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. See http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/regExpList.php for what's supported. If you use regex a lot, you might also want to read http://notepad-plus.wiki.sourceforge.net/FindReplaceNewlineHowTo for future reference. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. So I suppose you won't read me saying now that this is the first time you show something which might be mistaken for intelligence yourself. You'll only make me glad by not returning and saving me time to respond to your stupid messages. I couldn't grasp the thread number and had to manually go back in the forum's history to pick the thread's link. Luckily, its last message wasn't posted that long ago. Does anyone know how to quickly get to the thread of a search result's individual message? ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. So, I have created a user define language that recognize comments and subcommands correctly. But there is a little lack : when this user define language is applied on a tcl script, npp doesn't show the folding blocks... If you are interested, look at this : In order to active syntax color from a user define language, here is how you can do : 1. open NotePad++ 2. start a new text document then copy the code below and paste it in the new document 3. save it as c:\documents and settings\user\Application Data\Notepad++\userDefineLang.xml (please, note that the Aplication Data folder could be placed in another folder in the disk, depending of the os and the notapad++ install) 4. then go to Settings > Preferences, and in "Hide" tab, hide the TCL language 5. close notePad++ then open it 6. open a tcl script and go to the Language menu and choose the "TCL" item after or before the "User Define" item There is an another problem : I have noticed that Function list plug-in (1.2) doesn't show tcl procedures when this user define language is selected. But, Function List 2.0 alpha do it well I wish this tip could help you. A little feed back would be welcome. code to copy : <NotepadPlus> <UserLang name="TCL" ext="tcl"> <Settings> <Global caseIgnored="no" /> <TreatAsSymbol comment="no" commentLine="yes" /> <Prefix words1="no" words2="no" words3="no" words4="yes" /> </Settings> <KeywordLists> <Keywords name="Delimiters">"00"00</Keywords> <Keywords name="Folder+">{</Keywords> <Keywords name="Folder-">}</Keywords> <Keywords name="Operators">, ; ! . Here is the release notes: - Active selections are always replaced by the previous snippet with any variety of paste command, including middle-clicking/Ctrl-Shift-V - System and Multi-clipboard are always in sync, so that any generic paste uses the last thing you copied/autocopied, regardless of whether either copy or paste takes place inside or outside of Notepad++ - Plus if the snippet is external it's automatically added to the copytextlist when pasted inside npp (Note: Only upon paste, not upon copy) - Fix: Middle-clicking not clipboard list menu does not paste first item now; it is ignored Thanks Bahman! I'm currently working on saving/loading options to file) ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. I'll have to admit. However, I recommend you to look up ClipDiary. Not only is it free but it have the ability to copy anything, not just Notepad++. It's useful because sometimes I would copy and paste the simple loop code off the web. Heh. :) ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum.
