I'm sorry for the confusion about "windows". Yes i meant other "Windows"
windows.
Seems Harry got my problem, though :). Npp is topmost I realize that now :).
But I still can't open a new tab via double-click in the tab area of npp. Ctrl+N
works fine for me though, even in Full Screen Mode so that's not so big problem
:)
P.S.
Don, when you see the shot I've made, you'll find out how I know that the
windows
are in the background (behind npp). Thank You again for the great editor (luv

I'm using the latest Notepad++ version (4.7.5)
this version uses a lot of CPU during using of the FTP plugin.
It's start using 10-15% CPU but after +/- 30 minutes it is using 40-50% CPU.
I'm using the Unicode FTP plugin.

I'm having trouble getting the Light Explorer plugin to let me use my networked
drives. They show up but I'm unable to open them up to search for files in

set NAME = $(NAME_PART) // sets a value of user-variable NAME
gcc -o $(NAME).exe $(NAME_PART).c
unset NAME // deletes the user-variable NAME

Hello All.
As of the last 2 versions of N++ the update feature does not work. I am
currently
using 4.7.3 and about to update manually to 4.7.5
Does anyone else have this problem?

First at all, great work ^^
totally thanks
tell u I was trying to change colors... and... I have one suggest...
on PHP - Styles:
DEFAULT ... counting all phrases, and "functions" and words...
My suggest is... if I can "add" two mores styles...
for word in uppercase (Global variables)
and php's functions (so I can see a difference between my functions.. and php's
functions)

This may be a know issue, but it's inconvenient so I figured I'd shared. I
didn't test all the different conditions throughly.
The repro steps are as follows (Win2k3, Notepad++ 4.2.2 - english)
1) Open or create new file in notepad++ C:\Foo (path doesn't matter)
2) Close notepad++ (don't close the document, close the editor)
3) Rename the document to something (anything else)
4) Create a new directory 'C:\Foo'
5) Open notepad++
Observed behavior:
Get message: "Cannot open file C:\Foo" (that is fine)
Notepad++ crashes with "The exception unknown software exception (0xc000000d)
occured in the application at location 0x0044dc41).
(notepad++ stays in this state until some corrective action is taken)
Work around:
Rename the file/directory back again and futz around a little bit until it
it loads (got it to work by right-clicking the text file after it was renamed
back to 'C:\Foo' and selecting 'edit with notepad++'.
