There is an option called 'Automatic Update on Focus'.

Best Regards

Hello,

I do "hide lines" - it is OK.

After that, I change the tab (editing another file)

After that, I GO BACK to the previous tab, where I had hidden lines
AND... it is not hidden any more! It is visible... =(

So, while swiching the tabs - hidden lines become VISIBLE... that is bad, I
think.

Usually people need to hide lines FOR SOME TIME, but they become vissible at
the moment
you change the tab.

Is this common problem or I mush reinstall n++?

Best Wishes.

Even worse... I guess the last key should be a <CursorRight> instead of a <Down>
because this may skip a .zip occurring before the current cursor position.

Also, _if_ N++ interferes in the showing of the dialog, perhaps the problem
is in the undocked form itself because of some kind of event happening, while
the form was not yet created completely.

Could this have something to do with focussing (problems) in N++, like after
switching to and returning from another application?

The best plugin in Notepad++
but it is consuming all my CPU.

First around 10%
then using it for 30 minutes or more it is using 40-50% of CPU.

I noted this with the last release of notepad

Could oyu please describe more how you use this plugin and if the behaviur still
occurs if you disable some options?
Specifically, are you connected most of the time and is Keep-Alive enabled?
Does it still happen with autosave enabled?
With the explorer icons still enabled?
What fi you disable keep alive?

Also, are you using a dualcore system? 50% CPU on a dualcore usualy means 100%
on a single core desktop which means it hangs. Is the plugin/Notepad++ still
responsive if the CPU usage goes so high?

Thank you for any input, I have no idea what causes this so any help would be
welcome ;).

-Harry

I frequently edit files that are opened from a remote network through VPN far
away, so it takes time to save, open, and check for changes.

It seems like Notepad++ has a bit of a delay even when changing tabs. I'm
guessing
it is looking for changes to the file. Is there some way to disable this
feature?

Thanks.

I am puzzled why even the Global override settings cannot override the font
used for string literals (for example write a "Hello world" program in Java
and see how the string gets diplayed). It has been this way since many versions
ago. Did anyone manage to make Notepad++ display string literals according
to the Global override settings? Thanks.

The macro works even after the Find field is changed. Before running the macro,
the user must ensure that the Find field is prepopulated appropriately, with
either the same ".zip" string or some other key string the user prefers to use.

The <Home> key at the beginning of the macro already accounts for that
eventuality.

deal? Any clues?

Hi, has anyone found a resolution for this?

Downloaded notepad++ today, installed on two computers running XP and have the
same issue.

On one system I have Bitstream Vera Sans Mono displaying only bold option; on
the other this font shows up correctly. However, on the other the same problem
exists with Consolas, Tahoma and many others both monospaced and proportional.

I notice a couple of related bug reports that appear to have been closed - am
I missing something?

Cheers
