I would like to add a shortcut for "Close All" but there is no entry in the
shortcut mapper.

How can I add this shortcut?

Hi,

I would like to see the settings for ftp_synchronize (like user/pass siteinfo)
in a different file, so when upgrading the settings are still there.

Thanks

I am using v4.6 of Notepad++ and when I open the program, it will ask me
if I want to download the new update package and so I click on yes.
After the update has finished downloading and the installer starts
extracting the files, the installer freezes when it gets to
stylers.models.xml and so I have to force the installer to quit through
the task manager.

The problem is present in 4.7.1 and 4.7.5, so if anyone has any
solutions I would really appreciate the help.

Hi,

I finally got around to creating a Take Command/4DOS/4NT interface using the
User Defined language feature of Notepad++. It always irked me that the batch
language support recognised only a fraction of the keywords in JP Software's
excellent command line utilities.

For example: I implemented the block comment feature by using the comment start
keyword 'TEXT>NUL' and end comment by ENDTEXT. This allows the batch program
to execute as normal but in Notepadd++ it is nicely displayed as a block
comment.
A normal TEXT - ENDTEXT block still works as normal in TC/4DOS/4NT (although
I only tested this in TC).

If anybody wants the "userDefineLang.xml" I have created I will be glad to post
it to you.

Rod,
New Zealand

I was wondering if anyone knew if the "XML Tools" plugin is being updated and
supported. I noticed that it doesn't seem be present in the Notepad++ Plugins
project in SourceForge. The files are still at
http://www.calodox.scene.org/morbac/other/, but there doesn't seem to be any
activity since late 2006. I'm also not sure if it's functionality isn't
redundant,
so maybe the author lost interest.

Hi. I don't know if it's been suggested before, but what about putting the
"submit
to HTML/CSS validator" menu options in the same submenu as HTML Tidy because
they are all related to making clean, valid HTML/CSS code.

Hi. I mostly use N++ for writing HTML and CSS and I was wondering if it is
possible
to change the default blank new html file to a template already containing the
doctype declarations etc.?

There is an HTML validator and a CSS validator in the "TextFX Convert" menu.
I don't know if they will work for PHP.

Upgrading should always keep the settings (unless I change something to break
compatibility, hasnt happened for a while though). The file however is named
like the DLL, so if that changes names so does the settingsfile, thus you wont
have your old settings. Copying or renaming the .ini should do the trick (be
carefull though, the Unicode version uses a unicode ini and thus may conflict
with any ANSI version).

No, but the styler needs lowercase letters.
type in 'ld' and it will work ('ld', 'LD', 'Ld' will all be styled)
