I am using XP.
I do not use Tortoise.
I don't use FunctionList as well.

I open files from a ftp server with Total Commander in Notepad++ using the F3/F4
command and when I close these files in NP TC asked me if the files have to
be overwritten on the ftp server.
I do so.

Yes, but that it is not what my thread is about.
I miss this feature in NP.

BTW which find tool do you use with the possibility to open files in NP?

This is one of the features of NP++ I *like*, that it enables users to customize
the fonts/colors of syntax highlighter to their own preferences. Why anyone
would complain because they are offered a CHOICE is beyond me.

Don't like Comic Sans? Then just change it and go find something else to bitch
about....sheeesh.

If you tried a search for "temporary+table" you would have found the thread
"Please always show comments in SQL" in the Open Discussion forum:

I just renamed my session.xml file to session.session, right-clicked on it and
choose "Edit with Notepad++". For some seconds, nothing seemed to happen and
I wondered if perhaps Notepad++ was in some kind of a loop, but then there it
was: Notepad++ had just successfully opened and restored the session that I
had saved before. I could go on where I left before when exiting Notepad++.

So I guess also "[PathTo]Notepad++.exe sessionfilename.session" should do the
trick, as implied by the earlier description...
I tried it from the command line, but got a message saying
"[LastOpenedPathPreviouslyInNotepad++]\sessionfilename.session doesn't exist.
Do you want to create it?". I answered No, but Notepad++ seemed to have opened
the correct session again. Referencing this last operation directory is known
behavior, but could be improved or fixed.

Perhaps you (still) have to set the session file extension to ".session".
Menu:___ Settings
Option:_ Preferences
Tab:____ MISC
Feature: Session file ext: (lower right corner)

The point is: don't simply ask anything that you can find out about with just
the smallest effort. To be very specific about your question: don't ask...

Hi!
Excuse for my English.

Whether difficult to you to add possibility of highlighting of names of
functions
in the text of the program? I consider, that it is very useful thing. It would
be desirable to hear opinion of the others also.

I would strongly advise to rewrite this piece of code, since the WHERE clause
doesn't seem to belong to the SELECT statement it is placed under directly!

I would also love this language definition. I took a look at Notepad++'s XML
syntax, but couldn't quite grok all of it as it seems mostly undocumented. Some
documentation around this would be good too.

Nevermind.. I found where to change "rem" to "'" in the langs.xml.

I'm using the portableapps version of Notepad++ for stealth reasons, but if
it has not been fixed in the latest version, then this would be a good thing
to fix for the next version.
