Since version 4.8 i cant write in greek anymore , it is the same problem as
in the previous post !!(russian char).
WinXP sp2
in Nppexec console i can write and choose the correct font once it provides
the script chooser.
in Npp i can t choose the script type of the font so it simply types unreadable
characters when i switch the keyboard to greek.
pls make a patch for it a.s.a.p.

This feature does create a split screen but the 'font size' in the new window
is larger. Do I have npp misconfigured or is this a bug?
Thanks

So, why don't you reply to that message or any of the other multiple messages
about that on the other forums, instead creating just another new thread about
the same problem?
How many other character sets are there we can expect complaints about?

You can use the HTMLTag plugin:
This plug-in provides two core functions to Notepad++:
- HTML and XML tag matching, like the built-in brace matching (Ctrl+B /
Shift+Ctrl+B)
- HTML entity encoding/decoding (example: ? to é and vice versa)
The interesting thing is that you can customize the tags in the ini file.

I can confirm what Alexander Iljin said, but this time for the romanian
language,
which uses the latin alphabet. In NP++ 4.8 it is impossible to use the romanian
layout with five diacritics (?????), those are not displayed and it's the
first time when this happens. Using an older version of SciLexer.dll restores
the functionality to write the romanian special charcaters.

I put 0.2.7.1 online, RTF has better TAB export (I removed a dirty workaround),
and HTML export is now 4.01 strict :P. No real bug fixes though

I think you're best off creating a new project, dragging all the sourcefiles
and header files in and attempt to compile, there are no VC6 files added afaik
so you have to create your own project.

The Compare plugin highlights changes pretty well using the bookmark bar.
I guess the requested line change indicators could be implemented as a plugin.

OK I looked in stylers.xml and there are no Keywords tags. So that's a dead
end. I tried adding the <Keywords name="Folder+"> (and -) tags to
langs.model.xml
(where there are Keywords tags) and that didn't work. I've tried renaming the
"My Lexer Template" to "SqlFolding" but it won't show up in the languages menu.
I even went so far as to rename all instances of "My Lexer" to "My Lexer 01"
in all of the config files and still it shows up as "My Lexer" in the Language
menu. Is this whole thing sort-of data driven but not really? I'm changing data
in lots of places but I never see it in Notepad menus/behavior. Grr.

Notepad++ v4.8
"Remember the current session for next launch" doesn't work for the caret
position
when "wrap" is ON
Notepad++ v4.75 was OK

> Are you really, really, REALLY sure? What if there is a comma inside one of
the data fields? "To no surprise, this text contains a comma","...",...
Of course that'll lay waste to it. But does Excel still botch that too? I
have old C code somewhere (and possibly still widely used by an international
company I used to work for) that probably still handles delimited files 10 times
better than Excel - Excel which was otherwise a very good solution - except
you lose the challenge of writing a good regex.
