Oh, you are wrong so many times. You don't even seem to understand the meaning
of the verb stress here.

I have been using Notepad++ for a very long time without any problem. However,
recently I ran into a problem where if I were to select "Edit with Notepad++",
I would receive an error message: "Error creating process: nppcm.dll needs to
be in the same directory than notepad++.exe". However, if I selected "Open",
I would not run into this problem at all.  My system is Windows XP, not Vista;
and my Notepad++ version is 4.7.5. Thank you for looking into this.

I use COBOL for programming, I'm working in a BIG, when I mean BIG, it's really
BIG!!! Bank, the biggest one in my country, I'm working for a consulting firm
and we use UltraEdit32 and TSO for COBOL, we would gladly change to Notepad++
if it nativly supported COBOL !

Please think about it. Thanks !

A definition file for COBOL, so that Notepad++ would support it would be great
!

I work in the Biggest Bank in my country, I'm a programmer and am working here
in a big multinational consulting firm, we use COBOL everyday, it's never going
to die and we need good tools for it !

We are using IBM's tools like TSO, but also some paid software like UltraEdit32,
but we would gladly change to Notepad++ if it supported the language !

Best Regards

Hi Developers, Hi All

Sorry my bad English.

1, I use mapped drives (with net use ... command), and file auto detections
are always slow. I had around 30 so opened files, when I change to Notepad++
program, it always detect file changed. I switch off this function. Program
switch, and change document with ctrl + tab is fast, it's nice. However when
change document with click on tab, or close a file (ctrl+w) it's same slow (of
course don't check file modified). It is a silent bug?

2, I switch off file auto detection status, however when I save as a document,
and push Cancel button, check files modification, and is's slow, and signal
it. is It is also a silent bug?

I Hope it was understandable.

Ak

This is a feature request. In clone view, when viewing two version of the same
document side by side it would be useful to be able to sync the vertical
scrollbars.
Likewise, when viewing two versions of the same file one above the other it
would be useful to be able to sync the horizontal scrollbars.

I am trying to look at a big table of data with columns of fixed width. I want
the upper pane to show the column headings and the lower pane to show the data.
Being able to keep the horizontal scrollbars in synchronisation would be very
useful.

Cheers,

Paul

alexiljin,

(1)
1. Where do I get "OpenCTagsForNpp.dll"?
---
http://openctags.sourceforge.net/
-----
(2)
Is it possible to employ CTAGS for Scintilla autocompletion and call tips
features?
(I mean, does CTAGS provide enough information to create a plugin to feed the
info to Scintilla?)
---
No idea on this one.
