What happens if you close Notepad++ immediately after adding the group and the
open again?
Perhaps you will be able to add a favorite to the new group then?

I found resolve of first point, I bring out it:
If Window Manager plugin is visible, the click on tab is slow (in case of slow
drives, or maybe in case of huge files). I write later to author of Window
Manager.

Sure I could use Ctrl-s, but I've always done alt-f-s to save files... now i
have to do alt-f-s-enter... it is as if the underlined menu thingies (technical
description!) are gone... not sure if that is on purpose or not?

It would be annoying either way, but it should be an option if the user wants
it by default or not. I don't need every file to stay on top, just certain ones.
So if i save dog.txt and it has the stay on top checked on it would be like
that next time i open that file.
