So, I have this issue with russian. It become with 4.8.0 and still present in
4.8.1.
Now I've tried next options and this is the result:
- means without it
+ means with it
FIX means fix applied
HEP means HexEditor plugin present in plugins directory
-FIX+HEP - didn't work (This is a pack from SF)
-FIX-HEP - didn't work
+FIX+HEP - didn't work
+FIX-HEP - work nice
Thank to author for fix and thanks to anonymous for info about HexEditor
I wish you'll finally fix it in next version (I hope HexEditor will work too) :)

I figured how to disable the HexEditor plugin... first I changed the extension
.dll to .dll-xx but it was still loading, I thought from a different place ...
so after some more tries with different things, I kind of gave up... but when
I changed it to .xx-dll is not loading any more ...
and the problem is fixed !!!...
yoooof... finally ...

The same problem.

Yup, unchecking that did indeed cause the tabs to render correctly again. Seems
like I'll be upgrading to 4.8.1 then :)
But yea, a general quickie-test on wine for a release (thus claiming support
for Wine) would be a nice thing if you guys can manage the extra workload :)

I run Windows XP on this machine, and the network drive is created by a program
called "SftpDrive". It (you guessed it) turns SFTP into a network drive that
can be seen through explorer. The server on the other end is a VPS running
Gentoo
Linux. If the network drive is off, it all-out disappears, and it's letter is
avialable to any other new drive.

Hi,
This is an excellent program!!!... and its capabilities are amazing!!!
Sometimes it crashes on me and there is still some room for improvement... :-)
Sorry for the previous comment "What a waste" ... it's just that I was very
frustrated by the time it took to upgrade and then when I saw the bug with the
international characters, I snapped... :-) ... sorry ... you may delete it ...
I apologize ...
The solution was right here in this forum but I just didn't see it ... and on
top of that the solution was quick ...
and some Feature Requests if I may:
1) word wrapping - the subsequent lines to indent following the first line and
not go to the 1st column. It's very confusing when programming ... (similar
feature in Textpad program - www.textpad.com)
2) list of opened files - to be on the side (again similar feature in Textpad
program)
3) smoother upgrading - once we upgrade we should be able to copy the styler
... I couldn't do that ...

I just got a new work station. After my install of 4.8.1 there is a blank
window
in the middle of the main notebook++ window. It has a menu bar with a x to
close it. If I attempt to move the window it crashes the program. If I close
the window it seams like it spawns to more rogue windows one above the main
document which pushes the main document down and another on the right. Again
I can close the one on top but the right one is far enough to the right I can
not see the x. I tried loading 4.7.5 and had the same issue.
