The product is slick, and has the potential to become a real favorite among several of the developers, but we've ssen some odd behavior in the shared environment. I've not looked at the code, but my take is that configuration file is held for the application itself, without regard for different users. Has anyone else seen this? Is there a simple work around? Thanks, TUB ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. This is great for macros. All other editors seem to have this ability. ai-a on undernet. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. I have a two files, longer and higher than the screen width. So there is a vertical scroll bar and the horizontal scroll bar is also shown. When I press CTRL+End the cursor will be on the last line. The last line will be visible just above the horizontal scroll bar. When I go to another file I can do the same. When I switch back to the first file or the other again, the last line will moved down, halfway underneath the horizontal scroll bar. I don't think this is like it should be, when showing the horizontal scroll bar. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Is there away to extend this to modify the mapping of all menus, context including the text displayed. Then I can have File->Save &As. So I can press ALT+F, A to save the file (as all other microsoft editors have). I have seen an application that modifies menus and watches for shortcuts for all applications in Windows. Anyone remember what it was called ? ai-a on Undernet ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. These drives are connected using SFTPDrive and FTPDrive. Drives created using Subst seem to show the contained files. I can see the folders and context menu open them fine. They work in Windows Explorer as expected. When I try to alt-tab back into Notepad++ I can't activate the window. Or if I minimize it I can't get it back. The window in my taskbar shows it's active, but it won't show up on my dual screen. On a coworkers computer, he has an issue when he's swapping between windows a lot by alt tabbing back and forth. Usually it's done to check something and come right back to writing the code. Every once in a while Notepad++ will just lock up and he has to end the task without saving the work. Has anyone else ran into these issues? We both find the program to be absolutely wonderful for the kind of scripting and work we're doing for our company, but it's very difficult to do when you keep losing your work from these issues. -Doug ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Surely not N++? It's an easy one time fix (to the file) anyway, but of course it probably shouldn't be happenen. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. After I replaced nppcm.dll, "Edit with Notepad++" disappeared when I right clicked on the files, so I had to set that up again. I used "Open with Notepad++" instead of "Edit with Notepad++" to avoid confusion. I used "Open with Notepad++" on a couple of files, but did not receive "Error creating process: nppcm.dll needs to be in the same directory than notepad++.exe" or any other error message. All files opened perfectly. Afterwards, I followed the same steps (killing explorer.exe, starting cmd, restarting explorer.exe) again, but replaced the new nppcm.dll with the old nppcm.dll. The error, "Error creating process: nppcm.dll needs to be in the same directory than notepad++.exe", returned again, but only when I clicked on "Edit with Notepad++"; "Open with Notepad++" worked without any error message. "Open with Notepad++" is not very special. It uses DDE and the application name is "notepad++". The command line is: "C:\Program Files\Notepad++\notepad++.exe" %1 ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum.
