I love the Ruby Blue theme, but it only completely changes the colors for a
handful of languages. Now, I'd be more than happy to do the rest myself and
even upload it somewhere, but I have no idea what the color IDs are. I could
figure it out by cross-referencing the default stylers.xml, but still...

I've been using NP for a while but still have lots to learn.
Just curious if there are any tools to append a series of lines with a character
.
Also, what is easiest way to search and replace/remove line breaks in a text
file.

I recommend Advanced fnd/replace (control+r) without regex.

Auto-completion can enter the keywords for you, but as far as I know that's
all it does. Try control+space - see

Notepad++ and Visual Studio C# Express 2005 hate each other :/

When I run Visual Studio C# 2005 Express and Notepad++ my computer reboot. I
check rapport in Control Panel > Administrative tools > Event Viewer > System
There is an Error:

I don't know what makes the problem. ati2mtag is a daemon that installed with
my graphics drivers and run with my OS.
To resolve my problem I open: Control Panel > System > Advanced > Error
Raporting
> Startup and Recovery Settings
I clear checkBox that name is "Automatically restart" And then my system don't
reboot but show blue screen:

So i didn't like the default coloring of the java syntax highlighting so i
decided
to write my own. I tried editing the default xml files but it wouldn't recognize
the third keyword tag i put in. So when i wrote the custom one it wont
recognize
the { and } as open folder characters when they are also listed as operators.
The same thing happens with the // and /* */ comments when the / * are listed
as operators. Is there anything i can do?

You can make rectangular selection by clickin alt when you do a selection. When
you have done a rectngular selecton, you can open column mode insertion dialog
by clicking on alt+c. For the jave, go to language preference and add your
extiension

I've found the way to compile & run Java applications from Notepad++ with just
one hotkey.
First of all, go to the directory where you have installed Notepad++ and create
a new file called CompileJava.bat
then open it and enter these lines:
@echo off
path=%path%;"<path to your BIN directory of JDK>"
@echo on
javac %1
java %2
pause
Save the file and exit.
After that, open Notepad++ and press F5. Fill in the box in the small window
that appears with:
$(NPP_DIRECTORY)\CompileJava.bat $(FILE_NAME) $(NAME_PART)
then press the Save button, give a name to the shortcut and select the hotkey.
Press Ok. Now open a java source and press the hotkey you've selected and you
will see your program compiling & running!

that unicode input with e Japaneses characters now works for me.
