For Russian (RU) Spell-Checker doesn't works for ANSI encoding and works fine
in UTF-8.
Version 4.7.5.

The hard way, then: remove the .inc extension from the Pascal list in
stylers.xml
or remove the Pascal language completely, although personally I think you should
learn and use Pascal to overcome your problem.

What are you trying to achieve?
Perhaps explaining what you're target is, will be an invitation to come up with
a solution to what may turn out not to have been a problem at all.
If you insist on using a macro to do this or anything, I suggest you use one
of those other editors that you seem to be familiar with and know how to use
for this.

I just downloaded Notepad++ 4.8.2 but I can't figure out how to preview my php
pages in Internet Explorer. I tried Run - launch in IE and Ctrl-alt-shift-I,
but nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong? I would greatly appreciate
any help!

So I've run a command using F5 or Run->Run... I then saved the command as a
shortcut called "SQL Plus" with a shortcut of ALT + S. In an effort to update
the command I tried to save over it. This only resulted in two shortcuts listed
in the Run menu. Both called SQL Plus and both with a shortcut of ALT + S.
I then decided to update Notepad++ in the hopes that someone had added a
shortcut
delete function. No luck. Does anyone know how I can delete these shortcuts
from my Run menu? Thank you.

I'm having the same problem opening Notepad++ by any approach--'sorry problem
encountered etc.' I started seeing this about a month ago using 4.7.2, upgraded
to 4.8 with no change in the behavior.
WinXP SP2, 1Gb RAM, P4 machine.

I guess you're talking about cpu time?
Well, it may be the plugins issue.
Just remove one by one your plugins, which are located in "plugins" folder of
your Notepad++ installed folder.
Each time you restart your Notepad++ after removing one plugin, until that you
cpu time is not overloaded.
Please let me know which plugin causes this problem.
