Yes. Let's rename this nice application that Jezus left us with, into NutPath.

No, you got it totally wrong. Tabs must _always_ be counted by the number of
columns they represent. In fact, this is where the Text FX features, like
sorting,
go wrong. They do count actual characters instead of columns, which makes it
hard or even impossible to sort data layouted by tabs by any column not being
the first. This is something more editors suffer from. It's a pain, really.

If you really need the absolute number of characters instead of columns, I
suggest
you replace your TAB characters by a specific single (column) character to check
your desired line lengths. You can re-place the tabs afterwards.

They stopped using Notepad++ and changed to spending all their time filling
this forum with nonsense messages. (It takes so long to write an understandable
sentence.)

I just downloaded NOTEPAD++ to help me write a few batch files that I want to
write to help in some daily maintenance and backup options. I can't seem to
get the character set to come up that would allow me to make boxes around some
of my options. It does so automatically in Notepad but I would far rather use
NOTEPAD++. I know this must be a very basic question, but would someone be so
kind to help me out. Very much appreciated.
Bryan

Please... in the next revision put a option to close to tray...

I know theere is a "minimize to tray" option but i found myself several times
hit the close button and then had to reopen several files...

it'a a easy implement option and I think many will benefit from it!!!

ZEE

 hello guys:
       i'm a student from Shandong University,China.Today,i linked to notepad++
from souceforge.Only to find the words:
Boycott Beijing 2008 -
China : the world's biggest prison for journalists and cyber-dissidents
I feel sorry for this.I'm strongly for the idea of opensource programe.we
respect GUN ,sourceforge , Apache and the rest. Thanks to opensource,we
programer can communicate together and share. We never hava a barrier. But why
have relationship with political affairs ??
My friends,I'd like to know who of u are Chinese?I just want to say"codes have
no boundary, but coders have motherland".Even u come from TaiWan.
I don't wanna to say too much about Politics. But I remind u ,DO NOT KILL
NOTEPAD PLUS.it blongs to the world.DO NOT MAKE TI HAVE ANY RELATIONSHIP WITH
POLITICS!
I know some of u are rsfs. But please speak your opinions in your own site
,rather than http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/tw/site.htm.
Notepad plus is innocent, guiltless and sinless, have no relationship wtith
politics!
Thanks!
gfeng from SDU China.
