Whenever I try to open a .txt file, I get an error message saying "blahblah.txt
is not a valid Win32 application."
HOWEVER, when I right-click and select "Edit with Notepad++", it opens the file
fine.
When I installed Notepad++, I used the option to replace it with Windows
Notepad,
but it failed to work. Windows Notepad still works fine.
Specs:
Notepad++ v4.8.5
Windows XP Home Ed. Service Pack 2

Hi!
I need a simple feature to be implemented called autosave. I need my files to
be saved right after making changes but without closing, just in the progress
of editing. In idle time after around 4-5 seconds, or just in minute basis like
in document editors. I use the automatic backuping in verbose mode, and it would
be the best if the autosave would just make a new backup and save on real
changes,
but if it making backups and saves in every minutes it is good enough:).

Hi list.
I'd like a message, available for plugins,
that would change the mode of an open file.
I'd like to be able to change to
-- readonly
-- readwrite
params: in filename, in mode
perhaps also a message for determine/asking for what
mode a file is opened in.
params: in filename, out mode
Would help me a whole lot
with a plugin.
