I am using NPP V5.0 now, and I find that the default key binding for
auto-completion
is Ctrl+Space which happens to be the key combination for IME switch. So
basically,
the auto-completion does not work on the multi-IME systems. So, is it possible
to change another key binding for auto-completion in the updates?

One thing more, can NPP make the auto-completion automatically run while typing
without press any key combination?

Sorry to repost this message, but I think it got lost by responding to an older
post. I am having a problem with the file history in v5 (this problem did not
exist in v4.9). One of the settings that I changed from the default is that
I turned off the option to "Remember the current session for next launch".
If I close a file then it stays in the history, but if I exit N++ any open files
do not get saved in the history. If I enabled "Remember the current session
for next launch", then previously open files would be reloaded and it wouldn't
matter if they were not in the history (although I would prefer all documents
including open ones remain in the history).

screen shot: http://i274.photobucket.com/albums/jj262/dzenanz/Npp_garbled-1.png

Text at some point (different point in different lines) becomes garbled,
depending
on scrollbar position and window size (width). One thing that always held true:
if scrollbar is completely scrolled to the right, text is displayed properly.
If I click left arrow on scrollbar, one line gets garbled immediately.

All occurrences I noticed were beyond column 65536 (see screen shot). I might
also be connected with number of quotes (") visible on screen (with odd number
of quoted making trouble).

I noticed bug in 4.9.2. Then I looked for newer version and downloaded 5.0 and
the bug was still there. I decided to experiment a bit with it (in order to
be able to give best bug-description possible). Description above was made
observing
version 5.0's behavior.

I can send the offending XML file (around 1MB when compressed, 1.5MB
uncompressed).

I forgot to mention, the garbled text seems to be several strings displayed
in same position on screen (for example, string 'RepetitionCount=' can be read,
but following '"1"' cannot). When garbled text is visible on screen, scrolling
(by pressing arrow on scrollbar and holding it) is slower.

Styles such as Port of Ruby Blue no longer work in NPP v5. I have tried renaming
the stylers.xml to stylers.model.xml, but this makes no difference. How do i
get them working again?

Its already been taken care of in the SVN, the next release will have this fixed
(that is, if session is not remembered the files wil lbe in the history).
The behaviour of not putting filis in the history that are open will stay.

First, thanks for an absolutely fantastic program.

Second, regardless of the resources it's sort of a must-have feature. (If you
don't want/need it then don't install the plug-in). I use N++ program for
editing
both text files and coded files (html, xml, custom/user defined). The current
spell checker is great for text-only files, but using it to check files with
loads of variables that aren't words is a huge waste of time (due to constant
"ignore" clicking). I essentially have to copy/paste these files into AbiWord
and spell check them there. I think most of us who want this feature just want
to work efficiently.

Sorry, but I just updated to the 5.0 release, and this is back. So it was fixed
in the RC, and now it is broken again on main release.

Can anybody tell me the setting I need to change to make this not happen?

And #3... Sorry, i have had a very hectic day.

I just found that setting in the 5.0 release thread, which seems to have fixed
it.

For future Reference: TextFX > TextFxVizSettings > + Viz Capture Keyboard
Control-C,X,V
