I made a few test, I saw that the problem exists when I paste with Ctrl + V,
while everything is right if I right-click and then choose "Paste". The added
character vary depending on the copied text (the longer it is, the more
characters
are added). Anyway, even copying a plain row of characters (just letters or
numbers), at least a <nul> character is added.
hope you can catch the problem. thanks, Marco

If I assign a single key (F4, NUM+, etc.), rather than a CTRL/ALT/SHIFT'ed key
(Ctl-F4, Ctl-NUM+, etc.) to the "Next Document" function using the Shortcut
Manager, NP++ stops accepting mouse and keyboard inputs afterI press that key.
To reproduce:
Assign F4 to the "Next Document" key using the Shortcut Manager.
Open 2 documents
Press F4
NPP now beeps every time you type a character or do a mouse click.

I've got your very pleasant design. I just replied your mail.
> one more thing sir...are you the only person who created notepad++?
I initialized Notepad++ project (about 4 years ago) and I keep it going.
And here you can find the members of Notepad++ team :
https://sourceforge.net/project/memberlist.php?group_id=95717
Don't forget neither that Notepad++ is based on an excellent edit component
Scintilla.

There is a thread about it going on in Open Discussion.
You can just remove the updater and Notepad++ will be safe
(Either by using the bin pakcage which doesnt have the updater, or installing
it with the auto update feature unchecked

Don,
I have posted 2 comments about this old bug : [ 1589507 ] Bug in the TCL syntax
highlighting.
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1589507&group_id=95717&
atid=612382
It would be great for TCL users that use npp if this comments were added in
the next release. I have tested and now syntax highlighting works fine (like
in scite).

In HTML formatted files, pressing the enter key, (carriage return)
creates a br tag in my files. Can I avoid this by changing a setting.
The autocomplete file api is embedded for HTML files, so I'm not sure
what to do.
thanks!

In further tests, I'm still unable to reproduce. I ran the dir command in a
folder with 15 files. I ran it enough times to fill a tall command prompt
window
-- one showing about 85 lines. Then I copied the entire screen, including white
space between commands and to the right of short lines. The whole thing pasted
without trouble into NP++ using Ctrl-V. Not a single stray character.
Please check the keyboard mappings in Shortcut Mapper. Is Ctrl-V assigned to
something else, say, to a macro?
Regards.
Greg

I put together two simple icon sets for the Web Edit plugin. There is a readme
file for installation instructions. (it is very simple). The .ini file
is included.
you can download it here:
http://www.zero1productions.com/n++/webEdit_icons.zip
Currently the webEdit plugin only supports .bmp images so the icons have a grey
background to it. If I can convince alexander to allow support for .png or .ico
files
instead, I will redo the icons in these formats for alpha transparency.
If you have a tag request this is the place to do it! Hope you find it useful.
