Let's say I use a semicolon as my delimiter.

In Notepad++, the following line:

blahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblah;

is transformed into:

blahblahblahblahblahblah blahblahblahblahblahblah;

if I use:

blahblahblahblahblahblah[CR]
blahblahblahblahblahblah;

Is there a setting for the carriage return, so it won't occupy a space at the
end of my first line?

hi

threre seems to be a problem with updating "shortcuts.xml" - at least in
%appdata%
- because when the notepad++ session is closed this file is automaticaly reset
to the settings in the current session...

one workaround of course is to use an other editor (!?) to do this while there
is no notepad++ session open.

can you figure out another way?

thx

Came across the same problem. In v5.0.3, apparently the built-in autocomplete
does not work. Have read and understood the FAQ, can get autocomplete for VB,
PHP and whatever but not for (X)HTML or SQL. Even attempted to make an API by
the name of HTML and XHTML, both cases failed to work. Thanks for any help. Y**

tcc says it.
As I understand, it's because of 'clrscr' is not exported by "msvcrt.dll". Ask
Microsoft why they did not implement this function in "msvcrt.dll". Good luck
:-)

First off, thanks for a great plugin! This makes Notepad++ pretty much perfect
for me.

Regarding Agro's requested feature: taking my cue off of Semagic, what if we
could do something like this?

&Linkify=<a href="{clipboard}">|</a>

... then, when we run "Linkify", "{clipboard}" is *replaced* by the current
contents of the clipboard. That would be especially handy in this particular
case, where I'm usually linking to a URL I just copied.

Would this be hard to code? Would anyone else find it useful?

I propose to select next item when user clicks "Delete Item" on MultiClipboard
view.
And make multi-selection possible.

P.S. Nice plugin!

There is a bug with the CSS highlighting that I found: if you type a CSS rule
above another in a document, the rule following the one you just typed goes
all black with no highlighting. The only way to get the right colours is to
reload the file.

Hi everyone!

Well, the subject pretty much says it all: Can anyone tell me what the
difference
between a "simple backup" and a "verbose backup" is in Notepad++, please? :)

Regards,
Christian

Hello!

I just switched from the obviously dropped GWD Text Editor to Notepad++ and
I liked it immediately after having changed some settings (why the heck have
comments the awful non-fixed-width "Comic" font by default?)

But I want to discuss the IMHO badly designed taskbar icon. There is little
contrast in it, if I have 20 tasks on my taskbar (Windows XP, classic design),
I hardly find the Notepad++ task. Granted, this could be due to my bad eyesight,
but e.g. the Firefox tasks are no problem to find because of their clear
orange-blue
icons.

So why must the Notepad++ icon be white which is almost invisible on the grey
taskbar? Why not something clear and distinguishable in RED or GREEN or BLUE
or YELLOW?

Jens:
Just wondering if you've received my email regarding some slight changes I'm
proposing for a couple of files in the common folder, sent a couple of weeks
ago? On my end, I've already updated the look and feel as you've suggested :-)

Jamerlan:
Select next item on delete sounds logical. I'll put that in. As for
multi-selection,
what do you have in mind for it? Sounds to me its useful only for deleting
items?
I'm not sure what I can do with Up, Down and Paste, and what (if anything)
should
go into the edit box when multi-selection. Any thoughts? :-)

Loonychewy,

Yes, multi-selection useful only for delete operation. I think that other
buttons
should be disabled, when multiple items selected.

Thank you for reply!

This still doesn't appear to work? Does anyone know if this will eventually
be corrected? I realize there are work-arounds, but I flip back and forth
between
vi and notepad++ all day and it's frustrating having to use a workaround in
notepad++ to do this basic thing.

Basically the vi equivalnet of :%s/^/Put this at the beginning:/g

Thanks
