But you can use Notepad++ for that. See, for example, the message "delete remove duplicate line word sort length" By: Fool4UAnyway (fool4uanyway) - 2008-07-04 10:16 http://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=5073042 in the thread "Help deletin dupe words/lines and sorting" (Help forum) http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=2011755&forum_id=482781 ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. As of right now, if I have a code like: if(){ ... }elseif(){ ... }else{ ... } And I collapse this if(), it will hide -everything- until the end of the else. I wished to change this to collapse only on the if block. For example, if I ask to collapse the above, it would show like below. with all the lines bewtween the if and elseif hidden but the rest showing. That is good if you use big cases on your code with if..elseif..else and you want to clear the screens of the parts you are not using but want to leave the rest to work. [+]if(){ }elseif(){ ... }else{ ... } ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. It appear that the ? (zero or one time) quantifier is missing. The ? is implement in all other regular expression engines that I have encountered. Why is it missing? ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. For years I have looked for a replacement to one of my favorite pieces of software, a program called 'Cygnus Ed' that was written on the Amiga many years ago. Notepad ++ comes the closest to that I have seen. Some very nice work done here and I look forward to now being able to share documents between my Amiga systems and my forced to use PC. ;-) Todd ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. That is not a choice in the Format menu, and so > the characters > are, of course, garbled. Is there anything I can do? The ConvertExt plugin has support for external encodings. I'm not sure how it works exactly but it may be of help. See the Options menu of the plugin. The thing is, I don't know how to get the scripts I am writing with N++ to execute. If i press F5 and type 'python "$(FULL_CURRENT_PATH)"' and hit enter, a command prompt window appears for a split second and disappears again. Then I thought it might work if i make N++ send the script to IDLE which can execute it, but I'm not really sure how to do that. Basically anyone who can help me run a script written in Python with N++, through N++'s Run Dialog is my personal saviour and i will always think of your username when I'm successfully running my scripts ^^ ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Unfortunately, the ReadMe file revealed that ConvertExt currently only supports single-byte character sets. I wrote to the author requesting that he consider adding Shift-JIS, but I might have to wait a long time... ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum.
