When I am trying to select a long, unwrapped line of text, and accidentally
move the cursor above (or below) the current line, NPP jumps the view to the
end of the above (or below) line.

This is extremely annoying, as I frequently need to select a portion of an
unwrapped
line. If I don't keep the cursor precisely within the current line, the view
jumps and changes the selection.

I don't remember having this problem in a previous version of NPP.

I can see the use in this behavior, but as I need to keep the lines unwrapped,
is there any way to change it?

Thanks

Hi,

I am looking for a configuration to highlight the complete textline when
toggling
a bookmark, cause I want to use a view without margins ... if possible?

Hi,

Does Notepad++ supports SQL / PLSQL auto indentation.

Regards,

Gah! No ribbon please. It is the biggest single reason why I won't use Office

Settings -> Preferences... -> Global Tab -> Tab Bar Frame -> "Double click to
close document"

People, please do a minor search at least, before requesting new functionality

Thanks for the quick response Harry and Don. I was very happy to see the
highlighting feature go in, and it works great otherwise! I can confirm it
is causing the high CPU usage when you have a file cloned.

Notepad++ does support general auto-indentation; that is it will automatically
indent a new line to match the previous (non-blank) line's indentation.
It does not, however, try to guess if a new line should be indented further
than the previous line.

Hi there,

I really liked the editor and since I worked a lot with SAS
files, I decide to make a SAS lexer for the program to
better handle the SAS line comment and procedure and
macro folding. I also shrink the line space a bit so I can
see and edit more lines of text per screen.

Just wondering if anybody out there using Notepad++
also working with SAS and if you like to try the modified
program, just let me know. I will figure out a way to
put it somewhere for download.

Well, found the reason...
DllMain does not get called.

If I have code like this:
BOOL APIENTRY DllMain( HANDLE hModule,
                       DWORD  reasonForCall,
                       LPVOID lpReserved )
        {
        ::MessageBox(NULL, "DllMain", "", MB_OK);
        }

I'll never see that message box.

Any ideas why this happens?

I had this with MinGW and TextFX, I believe APIENTRY isn't correctly defined.
You may want to manually define it, for example something like
#define APIENTRY __stdcall
though that's for the VS compiler, not sure how MinGW likes that.

Also, you could try to initialize funcItems inside getFuncsArray()
