Can you write arabic or hebrew in other windows applications? If not then you need to reset your language/regional options. Best wishes Idris ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Thanks for the help, looks like I'll be using the RC for awhile :) ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. If you didn't, then it should display whatever it displayed before until you rebuild your icons whereas mine became blank originally. Oh...and still no icon. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. What would suffice for me is to have the syntax highlighted like C# just having the background of the enclosed code different. Do you have any suggestions on how to implement this in the easiest way? Thanks, Micha ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. The current version of regexp in Notepad++ seems to be a mix of the Posix Basic regexp and Posix Extended regexp. At first I thought that it's the Posix Basic version and not the extended one, but then I noticed the "+" metacharacter on the FAQ page http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/regExpList.php and "+" belongs to Posix Extended Regular Expressions set. Since there is no support for "|" and "?" metacharacters, which should be supported in Posix Extended regexp, it looks incomplete. What I really need badly is the OR operator, represented by the pipe character "|". Regular expressions without it are like a three-legged dog. Otherwise, Notepad++ is now definitely one of my favorite programs. Thanks! ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. The problem arises there too. If you like, I think you COULD reproduce this. This is what I did: -- Download WinSize2 V2.14 from: https://sourceforge.net/projects/winsize2/ (WinSize2: Move and resize windows to learned parameters.) -- unpack into directory e.g. %programfiles%\WinSize2 -- Start WinSize2.exe (it tells you where it put its INI file to) -- edit INI file in NPP: C:\Documents and Settings\<User>\Applicationdata\MagraSoft\WinSize2.INI -- edit in MSG file for English version in NPP (may be secondary win) (from dir where you started the EXE): WinSize2_Lang_EN.Msg -- set focus to any window and include its parameters to WinSize2 by: 1 time "Ctrl+Alt+Z" (will be echoed by tooltip) -- edit "Special Parameters" by 3 times "Ctrl+Alt+Z" and toggle "Always on Top" -- click "Change" -- click "OK" --> both files are changed. And PS not to forget: Thanks for your great program. It helps me every day. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. One of our C extensions is a mapping of the opening and closing braces to proprietary keywords; but of course block folding does not work when we use these in place of the braces. Is there a plan to place the folding configuration in a user-configurable (XML?) file, at least for keyword extensions of internally supported languages? Or - even better - to merge the configuration of default and user-defined languages? I know you're busy, thanks for taking time to develop these extremely useful tools & provide support at the same time... ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. There are probably discussions about there too. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum.
