Download the zip and copy the contents of the extracted ansi subdirectory over your current NPP install and you will be able to use all the old plugins you were used to. Just remember that using the installer always will be the Unicode version. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. The text file is correct. Notepad++ saves it correctly, because this file works in Notepad, IE, Opera, Mozzilla, Eclipse, etc. But if I try open this file using Open With -> Notepad++, it loads an empty page (one tab page with: new 1). There is no problem with other types: now I save text files as file.txt+, and I ascribe this type to Notepad++, but it isn't a bug solve. What do you think? Wow, I've just tried this example in other notebook, but with Windows Xp SP3 PL (not ENG), and it's works. Maybe I have something wrong with my notebook. Damn it. Any ideas? (McAfee blocks something?, Eclipse, Visual Studio 2008?). Very weird. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Seems like what you wan can be done using macro to run that function, then run the standard save command. and just remapping Ctrl+S to run the macro instead of the regular save....in theory. If an XML elements <script></script> exists, any XML between these elements will be black and syntax highlighting will not be applied. For example: <foo> <script> <bar></bar> </script> <bar2></bar2> </foo> Syntax highlighting will not work for "<bar></bar>". It does work for all other elements in this example. Can something in the configuration files for Notepad++ be adjusted to work around this issue? Thanks! ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. It simply isn't a list of the key words saved as an xml document. Here is an example of what i'm talking about (this was taken from the python auto-completion file): NotepadPlus> <AutoComplete> <Environment ignoreCase="no" startFunc="(" stopFunc=")" paramSeparator="," terminal=";" /> <KeyWord name="AST" /> <KeyWord name="ArithmeticError" /> <KeyWord name="AssertionError" /> <KeyWord name="AttributeError" /> <KeyWord name="BaseHTTPServer" /> <KeyWord name="Bastion" /> <KeyWord name="CGIHTTPServer" /> <KeyWord name="Complex" /> <KeyWord name="EOFError" /> <KeyWord name="Exception" /> <KeyWord name="FloatingPointError" /> <KeyWord name="IOError" /> <KeyWord name="ImportError" /> <KeyWord name="IndentationError" /> <KeyWord name="IndexError" /> I sure as hell am not going to enter in all of that code for each keyword by hand for the mel auto-completion file that I'm trying to set up. Is there anyway I would be able to generate all of that "<KeyWord nam=""/> " with notepad ++ providing I had the list of keywords? I obviously don't want to have to copy and paste all of that in. I was trying to find the location of the user defined language that I had already set up. I'm sure that all of that must be set up somewhere in that format after I pasted my list of keywords into the user defined language set up box. Please help!
