I was wondering if there is a way to implement subscripts and superscripts into
my regular text files. I generally use notepad++ for typing up my lab reports
and would appreciate it if i didn't have to leave a big open space for my messy
writing and be able to write out my equations with the subscripts.

No such thing, Notepad++ isnt a wordprocessor :). However, there are a few
numerical
superscript symbols with some fonts, you could try looking for those (start->run
then charmap if you're feeling lucky :))
Personally I find the openoffice formula editor sufficient enough to work with,
its pretty simple, you can try looking for that (or any other Math editor, there
are many).

When you turn word wrap on/off repeatedly in a document with lots of long lines,
the focus changes constantly.
The line you're on should always remain static on the screen, but it doesn't.
Try for example going to line 90 of this doc and doing the above:
http://www.skytopia.com/stuff/wrap.txt
Apart from that, love the editor. It's going to take a lot for me to switch
from EditPlus, but if anything's going to do it, it'll be this.

No, it's not simple like toggling one switch. It's not all that difficult,
though: all I did was define a few special types:
{$IFDEF UNICODE}
? nppString = WideString;
nppChar = WChar;
nppPChar = PWChar;
{$ELSE}
nppString = AnsiString;
nppChar = AnsiChar;
nppPChar = PAnsiChar;
{$ENDIF}
and replaced the 'string' type by those, in all interactions with Notepad++
(not in the interfaces to Scintilla, mind you!).
I've had to use the -W function in a few API calls (instead of the -A function),
but then it worked as a charm...

receive an error 404 message.
is there an alternative url where to get the demo-plugin code from?

New Notepad++ is an Unicode application, and it does not support old ANSI
plugins.
You could read it in the release notes, but seems you did not.
Old versions of the plugins are ANSI, because all previous versions of Notepad++
are ANSI, not Unicode.
You can wait a little, until Unicode versions of the plugins will be released,
OR download the newest version of Notepad++ in the zip-archive which includes
both ANSI and Unicode version of Notepad++. The newest ANSI version of Notepad++
is compatible with old ANSI plugins.
