Try recording a macro that does almost the same thing but inputs a text string
into some blank file.
See if that works.
Macros are saved in one of the XML files IIRC. There's another post on this
BBS that explains it.
Look in your "Documents & Settings" folder under Notepad++ for .xml files. Then
try the main Notepad++ folder if that doesn't work.

Hi all. I use Notepad++ a lot almost daily. I use it for editing NSIS,
AutoHotkey,
and a little Python (Just learning). AutoHotKey is now a very popular Open
Source language similar to AutoIt. I'd like to see it come as a default
language
like the others at present time. They have a user defined one one their site
but it doesn't do any autocompletion (I'm told do to the fact that it's
an UserDefined. Any way this might happen?

I have installed Notepad++ (version 5.1.1) on Windows. I can't see to find or
figure out how to get the spell check to work. I can't even find it on the menu.

you'll need to find the spellchecker UNICODE version, which I do not know if
it exists
you can download notepad++ in zip form from the website and copy the files in
the ANSI version to your notepad++ directory, replacing them (I would make a
backup first)
and after that you will need to download and install aspell to make it work

currently, i work in environments where i have to switch between many different
documents (sometimes 20+). in textpad, there is a "document selector" feature
that enables you to quickly go to any document without having to scroll through
the tabs. would it be possible to add such a feature to notepad++? it has every
feature i could possibly need except this one.
