Pretty much it claims that it's not compatible with the current version & requests to delete the plug-in so the message wouldn't bother me next time. I use the Spell-checker plug-in extensive when writing my guides for Game FAQ's & I've just added the Speech plug-in (which is working with 5.1.1) to help with grammar. Could somebody contact me when the updated version of this plug-in is released? ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. I think that the recent files list only gets added to when you *close* a file. Why? Dunno. Seems dumb to me. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. From what I read this was taken out but I get quite confused when trying to find a button on the toolbar and they are different than all other applications. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. However! when I open a file, it is not added to the recent file list. When I close the file I just opened it is in the recent file list. Then when I select that file, it's removed from the list. Whaaa? That ain't right. Steps: using myFile.txt: File-->Open myFile.txt (file is not in Recent list) close myFile.txt (file is now in Recent list) select myFile.txt from Recent list (file opens, but is now not in the Recent list) So whoever fixed the bug that the OP pointed out added a new one? When file is opened, check to see if it is in recent files list. If not, add it to top of list, remove entry at bottom. If is in list, do nothing. Don't touch the recent files list on file close. It ain't rocket surgery. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Me (and Don I guess, he thought of it) dont see why you should have a file in a recent list if you already have it opened. The list is limited in size, and if you have many files open, you would only see those files. The idea of the list is that you can reopen files you previously closed, it doesnt serve any other purpose in notepad++. For a list of opened files, you can try the Windows dialog from the menu, though probably entirely unrelated. in 5.1.1 both bugs are fixed (some version ago actually), and a number is added in front of the filename. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum.
