I am getting an error with Notepad++ with Vista 64 "This ANSI plugin is not
compatible with your Unicode Notepad++."

Can someone tell me how to resolve?

SecurePad doesn't work with 5.1.1. Is there a work around or alternative? I
use this plugin quite a bit and would like to be able to upgrade from 5.0.3,
which I think is the last version SP works with.

Best to all,

    jab

Hi,

i want to make a plugin for notepad++.
I downloaded the 2 sample projects but there are so many files. is it possible
to make a plugin with only one or two files?
If yes, how would this files look like for a minimalistic plugin?

I found the problem but it's bad news for me. It wasn't any of the plugins,
it was SciLexer.dll. The version that comes with the current NP++ has a bug
for ASP that has never been fixed so I've been using an older version that
doesn't
have the bug. Unfortunately, the older version is now causing the delete line
bug in NP.

So I guess it's still Scintilla's problem? I'm screwed :(

Unfortunately, a few days ago I upgraded my Notepad++ to the current version.
I used to be able to grab and operate with CR LF, to modify extras placed in
the 4.4 Gig file by the program used by a previous editor. That is, I could
select code like
CR LF
<br>CR LF

and replace it with
<br>CR LF

It's true that I couldn't *see* the CR LF in the search and replace boxes, but
they worked as if they were visible.

Now I cannot work with these codes at all, although I can make them visible
to see what the problem is. It's very frustrating.

Any clues as to what might work?

Thanks

In addition, for some reason there's no ability to delete any CR LF

TIA for any assistance.

I assumed the Functions.xml plugin was supposed to do syntax checking and
autocompletion for the various languages when I use NP++ to edit source code.
I've tried Ctrl-Space when editing my Javascript source, but nothing happens
even though javascript.xml and javascript.api are both in my NP++/plugins/api
directory. How are these supposed to work?

Thanks for reading my simple-minded question.

I put NppJavascript.dll in my plugins directory and now NP++ gets an Access
Violation error. I removed the dll and everything works OK. I guess there is
a bug?

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to filter lines in a long file so that
only lines containing "ABCD" are displayed?

Thanks,

Mike
