Also I'd like to add that over the last few years I've run gaming servers and have always used Notepad++ for editing mapcycles and config files. There's no need to worry about that side of it roshane. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. I'm a huge fan of N++, but nothing beats a spreadsheet program when it comes to CSV editing IMO. Customizable colum width, etc. Just my 0.02 $. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Kind of an #INCLUDE statement for all kinds of files. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. I am not sure if i need to use regex to do this. I am looking for a way to find for a comma sign which is not followed by space(s) eg; "menu_addblank(g_MainMenuID, 0,szMenuName,20)" In this string, the first comma has space after it. So only the last 2 comma's will match Please reply if you have any idea Thanks ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. I would use the find string: \,[^ ] comma followed by any character except a space. Make sure the Regular Expression mode is selected otherwise it won't work. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Does anyone know how to replace notepad.exe in C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64 as this is the version that all 32 bit applications invoke and thus most applications so my replacement isn't really replaced. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. This can only happen at boot time before Windows gets started. The program Replacer by Unknown Software (http://www3.telus.net/_/replacer/ ) will look after it for you. It works with 32-bit XP, not sure if it has been updated for 64-bit. If not, you will have to add the SysWOW64 copy of Notepad.exe to the Move at Reboot registry entry yourself. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. What about replacing those comma's with comma that has space? "menu_addblank(g_MainMenuID, 0,szMenuName,20)" to "menu_addblank(g_MainMenuID, 0, szMenuName, 20)" Find what: \,[^ ] Replace with: ? ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum.
