Hi guys,
After I installed Finereader 9.0, a dialog boxe in Notepad++ has been
consistently
broken (even after uninstall). While I don't think this is a problem with
Notepad++
per se, I believe someone here might be able to identify the shared windows
component which needs fixing/reinstallation (I tried dot net, did not help).
This is a picture of what it looks like:

Any quick tips on removing all comment lines in a file? Basicly remove all lines
that start with these signs;

Don,
In NP++ you have made it to automatically disable the smart highlighting when
very large files are loaded. Would it be possible to also disable the finding
and underlining of HTTP addresses when large files are loaded. I have that
preference turned on, which I like to have, but for large files I think it's
slowing it down. Maybe that could be something that is also disabled
automatically
with large files for the time being. Still looking forward to a day when NP++
can load the first part of a very large document onto the screen for a user
to start browsing/editing while the rest of it is either loaded or loaded on
demand.

Hello!
I'm trying Windows 7 beta build 7000 and i tried to install Notepad ++ on it.
The program works fine, but when i try to enter something in non-english
keyboard
layout selected (i tried russian which i need, ukrainian and some european)
- same vowels with ^ on them instead of symbols. For some reason, Japanese IME
works fine, maybe being another method of input.
Can i fix it somehow or does it need to be updated in future?

Oh man, try to download latest Notepad++'es zip archive, then unzip it to a
new empty folder, run Notepad++ from there and see whether the problem is gone.
I think, most likely it will gone.

Using zip-archive plus new empty folder is 50% to avoid problems, because such
problems are often caused by "remains" of previous Notepad++'es installed files
when you install a new version over the previous.

This has already been discussed in the past; there is no port currently, and
it is quite difficult to make one, because the code is heavily based on
a Windows-specific API. Making the code portable would imply rewriting half
the code, which is obviously a big effort, and the author isn't planning to
do it.
Anyway, somebody has been able to use it under Linux with Wine; if you need
help, you can search through this forum, you should find something.

No, its a clean system. I tried to delete all plugins, doesn't change anything.
Also, copy-paste works perfectly, so i suppose its a method of input in windows
7.
