It looks nice. I could see that mixed with the tabmix+. I haven't read the license for that particular file, but the porject is GPL; so you should be OK as long as you follow that. I'd try it it out. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. I much prefer standard menus over tabs. I support Chris's call for a re-arrangement of menus. Length is a problem, but so is logical clustering. The solution to both is a full review of the menu contents. I also support Thell's call for cascading menus for plugins. TextFX menus are far too long and would benefit from cascading menus. The smaller plugins (command-wise) would also benefit from cascading menus as they could use logical clustering when they needed it. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. And any way, I guess the steps you have mentioned is not necessary for applications which support Unicode. I can see Chinese correctly without making any change to my system settings in some applications which support Unicode very well (e.g. Notepad.exe in Windows). ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. XP Pro SP3, danish, 100% fully updated except for "Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0: x86 Language Pack (KB928416)". Exact same error as Tobias Leich. Quite a bunch of programs are running in the background; one of those could be the reason I guess, or maybe NPP didn't quite manage to shut down before the file move. Or maybe it has problems handling that my user name contains a space? Picking up the binary zip and overwriting the NPP files manually (unicode version) was my solution. On my home machine, the process completed succesfully. WinXP SP3, with owner status. On my offie machine, the process usually stops fast, as the progress bar disappears without showing the slightest completion. I guess that this could be a timeout issue in connecting to Internet. Yesterday evening, the progress bar completed, I was asked if I wanted to continue with install as N++ was about to close, and then ntvdm.exe errored out as posted. WinXP SP2 with limited user account. Here is the exception report: C:\DOCUME~1\YKNUHW\LOCALS~1\Temp\NPP531~1.EXE Le processeur NTVDM a rencontr? une instruction non autoris?e. CS:0743 IP:02e5 OP:ff eb 0d c6 46 Choisissez 'Fermer' pour mettre fin ? l'application. Ignore does the same thing. Note that I install N++ on a different drive so that there is no issue with permissions. But installer doesn't launch anyway.
