Marl All cannot be in shortcut mapper because it is no longer a command.
And unfortunately, the Mark using style 1 etc new commands are not on the
shortcut
mapper, but this is a bug to be reported. At least an interface quirk.
CChris

Please update the "News" page of the site.
http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/news.php?lang=uk
The site shows the current version as 5.4.2 but only has details up to 5.3.1.

The patch has been submitted to the Tracker.
I'm not sure it may be included in official Scintilla's source code because
it uses platform-dependent function Platform_MakeUpperW with current
implementation
for Win32. Anyway, I tried to implement my changes as separate blocks of code,
so it must not be complicated to apply this patch to futher versions of
Scintilla.
Also - ATTENTION! - I think I've found a bug in implementation of Find Result
pane. To reproduce:
1) select several lines of text in current document
2) open the Find dialog - its 'Find what' field now contains the selected text
lines
3) press 'Find all in all opened documents' or 'Find all in current document'
4) double-click the line found in the Find Result pane - Notepad++ crashes.

I'm almost sure it is caused by some of plugins you use. Try to find out which
plugin causes this.

Hello guys,
Why in the configuration no option
"Disable OVR mode" (Always enable INS/insert mode only)?
Because users in 99% never use "OVR mode".
Thanks,
Den

Hello,
I have a problem with SQL functions and procedures.
If a procedure/function is declared without parameters, it's not listed in
function
list. For example, A is listed, B is not:
A:
procedure i_am_listed(par1 number, par2 number) is
begin
...
end;
B:
procedure i_am_not_listed is
begin
...
end;
Same with functions. I've tried to fix the rules, but no luck so far.
Can anyone help me?
Thank you.

I thought it was a Scintilla issue, that we can't define other keywords for
PHP/JS (other?) lexers. Well, in fact it is possible to define them and they
are even being shown in NP++ styles configurator, but they can't be in any way
highlighted.
In the Scintilla bugtracker I was pointed out, that the function, which parses
the keywords and makes actual styling, is not a part of Scintilla itself.
Please refer to
https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=352439&aid=2800417&group_id=24
39
I would like to ask the author or contributors of NP++ to enable a few more
keyword groups for PHP/JS lexers.
Thank you.

XML is case sensitive (w3: "XML tags are case sensitive. With XML, the tag
<Letter>
is different from the tag <letter>. Opening and closing tags must be written
with the same case").
However, N++ syntax highlighting does not seem to support this, highlighting
"<review> ... </REVIEW>" as if they were matching opening and closing tags.
In XML, they're not.
Is there an option to enforce case-sensitivity (I've looked but can't find one,
and can't fins anything in the Forums about it) or will N++ have this option
in a future release? Alternatively, is there a way to edit the syntax
highlighting
to add case sensitivity?

This is for the AutoIt3 language, which comes with Notepad++. How can I tell
if it is using a lexer or not?
In any case, I am only trying to modify the lang.xml file. BTW I sent a message
to Donho asking him if we wanted to get my updated definition file, but so far
he has not had time to reply to me.

I had the same error, and gorfou's suggestion fixed my problem. I ran a batch
file that tried to create a something in "C:\program files\..." without the
quotes... meaning it created C:\Program instead.
