The Pascal parser appears to be broken in 5.4.4. It's assigning the wrong colors
to everything, and I can see by playing with the styler configurator that the
wrong items are being affected.

I believe that the Edit Components page used to have a checkbox for Primary
and Secondary View for "Display Indent Guideline". This setting is no longer
there, although it can be changed by hand in config.xml.

Hi. There is a Search / MarkAll I guess that is what is meant.
However I can't find the search /markall in the shortcut mapper.
The removal of [ctl]+[m] shortcut for this functionality is stopping me from
upgrading my version as I do a lot of finding one string in data & then finding
related strings nearby, highliting them & bookmarking them all, then copying
the bookmarked lines to a new file.

Hi, the forum hid some of the existing replies so I asked a repeat question,
sorry.
Is this now registered as a bug please? or is there another keyboard short
method to achive the same sort of result please.
ie. highlight a word -- press a shortcut -- all lines containg word are
bookmarked
& matching text is highlited? This is such a productive way of dealing with
some sorts of data that several of my coleagues have started to use NPP for
just this function alone.

Still no luck...I uninstalled and re-installed ver. 5.4.3 with the don't use
%APPDATA% option and have the toolbarsIcon.xml file in C:\Program
Files\Notepad++
and the icons are in C:\Program Files\Notepad++\icons\Crystal++ Can you post
the contents of your toolbarsIcon.xml file? Also, what are the file dates for
your Crystal++ icons? My range from Aug. 24 to Aug. 29, 2005 and have a size
of 4 KB each (total of 59 files). Finally, what version of Notepad++ are you
running? Thanks again.

Now this shortcut has been removed, is there any other way to get the same
function
please.
ie a shortcut that will mark all the matches for the selected text & bookmark
them according to the settings last used in find.
I have asked about this function shortcut a few times but perhaps not in the
right place.

I backed off to version 5.1.4 and the problem has not yet reoccurred today.
I intend to move forward one version a day until I find the problem again --
this should identify the version where the behavior started. ( I believe (not
very reliable) that I upgraded from 5.1.3 to 5.4.3 when the bad behavior was
noticed -- like the other users I have the same problem with version 5.4.4, too.

I've made a little utility to manage this on Windows:
http://aaron.sherber.com/files/npp-assoc.zip
There's a Help button to explain how to use it, in case it's not clear.
The point of this is to associate files with NPP while keeping their old icons
and file descriptions. So I suggest that you first go into the NPP Preferences
dialog and undo any associations you've set up there. That way, .txt files (for
example) will again be Text Documents with the good old Notepad icon. Then use
this utility to re-associate.
