do you use plugin QuickText, it's default shortkey is TAB, it maybe conflict
with "replace tab with space"

Might i suggest to change this to check marks or enable some sort of
multiselect.
It is a pain to go through and add all of the extensions one by one

I would be able to open a new tab via the command line in a folder of my
pleasure,
but without having to first save the document.

xjzhang1979, you are right. It was conflict with QuickText.
Thanks a lot.

if you are still using an ANSI version NPP, you may use plugin Functionlist 1.2
>From 2.0, functionlist doesn't support ASNI version Npp, but in 2.0, it has
a function name filter ,it's usefull.

here, I add the filter function to 1.2
You can get the special version from here:

Hi.

I have a problem with running ruby scripts directrly from NP++

In  NP++ I made this:

1. Run
2. I typed in: cmd.exe /k ruby "$(FULL_CURRENT_PATH)"
3. saved
4. Assigned an ALT+F1 key-combo for executing it

This opens a cmd.exe window and displays the ruby script. It worked OK until
I noticed there's a catch.

Whenever I have anything in the ruby script that is related to file/directory
opening, i.e. when I want to load a text file (That needs to be and is in the
same directory as the Ruby script)

I am gettng an error message that the file was not found. Immediately after
the Ruby script was run In the CMD.exe window the directory changes back to
C:/Program Files/NP++

The Ruby script works fine when I manually open cmd.exe, cd to the directory
and then type 'ruby {file_name}'

I tried the NPEXEC plugin, but I don't really fancy the console, I would prefer
the cmd.exe window to pop up instead.

Is there a way to do it?

Since few builds at least, N++ is freezing every now and then without any
apparent
reason.

Thus, I would like to know how I can log N++ freezes so that they could
be fixed?

Is there some special tool for that? In Opera, I use Inspector IIXII, it could
be useful here too. It will show EIP at least. What's proffered method?

There have been previous requests for this feature, but no comment. It would
be very useful even if just to search for the current search string in a macro.
Is there a major problem implementing it? I am prepared to help implementing
this feature.

I am quite interested in the theme you are using, would you mind sharing it?

I am trying to convert a list of definitions from looking like this,

Word1: Definition1 blah blah blah
Word2: Definition 2 blah blah blah

to a format like this,

Q: Word1
A: Definition 1

Q: Word 2
A: Definition2

Etc.

I need it to be in this format to be able to import into a program I use called
Supermemo.

I just used Notepad++ for the first time and was able to get it looking fine
in Notepad++, with all the carriage returns between each set of Q&As, but when
I open the same file now in Windows Notepad--just checking prior to import--none
of the carriage returns are there.

Why are the carriage returns (which I had inserted using Search\Replace and
using "extended" and "\r") showing in NP++, but not in Windows NP?

Thanks in advance.
