I would like to add a feature request / bug fix if i may...
When an ftp connection terminates, dont pop up an error message. Just throw
something to the FTP Messages log window about termination and just close up
the sockets and connections gracefully and reset the connection window....
My guess is that doing it that way might clean up some of the stability because
most of my crashes happen after or during the appearence of that popup window
(ie i didnt know it was there, and tried upload a file, then have to click ok,
and the whole thing just sort of unravels).

i believe you can get it from the main notepad++ downloads section and just
pick under source instead of binary... I could be wrong though.

Thanks SO MUCH!!! I don't know why I didn't try it (blinded by frustration I
guess), but THANK YOU!!!
The "Run-as Administrator" worked perfect! There is even a setting where you
can permanently have a shortcut R/A/Admin. I also turned off UAC, but I don't
think that affected anything.

I'll do the plugin dance tonight at home when I'm not on company time. No chance
of getting a dump because the program simply locks up, no way for it to do the
smart stuff. It sure looks like a memory related issue to me and next time it
does it I will take a screenshot so you can see what I mean. Some of the menus
go plain white etc like a memory leak would cause. It just did it to me again
a few minutes ago, all I was doing was editing a php page and
refreshing/minimizing./maximizing the page over and over. It also seems to do
it if I do like a copy and paste and I click/move REALLY fast above the program.
I get this on any machine randomly throughout a day (in an average 8 hour day
it usually happens between 3 and 5 times)

How can I replace a text with the file name?
Scenario: I have thousands of text files which are all identically except their
file name. A specific part of the texts should be replaced with the name of
the file.

Can you please enable the Kixtart language to use not just comments that start
with a semicolon but also the C-like comments ie. /* */
Currently, notepad++ doesn't know what they are and therefore, kixtart loses
all it's colour coding.
