The author of Ndexer seems to be in no hurry to add NPP support, so I've put
the compiled binary online at http://kozina.com/stuff/ndexerk.zip.
Full sources available as per the GPL v.2 (see included README.txt).

I think there is already a QuickText plugin which does this. And autocompletion
lists can be tweaked quite further than the NP++ docs discloses - of course,
you have to send Scintilla a bunch of config messages, and revel in the jargon
of the Scintilla docs. So... what is the benefit of the extra layer?
Granted when 5.5 is released with multiple selection available, and QuickText
upgrades to take advantage of it, thn we can have some real fun.

Edit: this sourceforge wizard thing has included the end dot when converting
the link posted above. The filename is obviously ndexerk.zip (no dot at the
end - remove it manually).

The options in Scintilla have expanded with v2.01, check the link you just
provided
:-) I have an eye on SCWS_AFTERINDENT, or whatever the exact mnemonic.

I'm not sure what are you asking exactly.
If you need support for highlighting a template with the Smarty syntax you have
to download the API and install it as a User Defined Language (see
https://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=2883976&forum_id=331753 ).
If your template is already highlighted as Smarty and you want it to be
highlighted
as HTML just select HTML from the Language menu.

A new version of the LanguageHelp plugin can be found here:
http://fstellari.googlepages.com/npp_plugins
1v301 (2009-08-26) adds support for ms-help collections (thanks to Wintruder)
and removes the requirement of lowercasing of path that are shell executed (as
requested by Diamanti).
Ms-Help collection may be accessed in two ways by specifying a path that starts
with "ms-help://" in the extended file path control box in the options dialog
box. One can just specify the collection: "ms-help://<collection> " (such as
"ms-help://ms.vscc "), in this case the current work will be automatically
appended
to be searched. Alternatively, a complete search string can be specified using
any of the special variable available:
"ms-help://<collection>?word=$word$&filter=<filter>" (such as
"ms-help://ms.vscc?word=$word$&filter=Visual C++").

Thanks for the reply :)
I went to Settings > Style Configurator and choosed Javascript. Since I can't
find STRING, I changed DOUBLESTRING, SINGLESTRING, STRINGEOL but that doesn't
fix it.
Any other workaround?

I've found my self looking for a good open source text editor that is truly
64 bit. I've had great difficulty in this search. A friend of mine suggested
I apply notepad++ to my problems. It of course doesn't work either, but it's
open source.
I will be fairly routinely generating 6GB+ text files that contain 6M+ rows
with about 100 columns. I need a simple way to briefly inspect them and remove
the first line, before processing them in MATLAB.
Would it be difficult/possible to compile the notepad++ source code into a 64bit
app capable of opening such files.

If all your doing is removing the first line it sounds like you might have more
luck with a program like sed/perl/etc

Suppose this is as good a place as any to post a bug, then:
ftp_synchronize messes up permissions on linux servers. Everything is being
saved to the server as 751. I can create a 750 file, edit it remotely using
notepad++, save the update, and suddenly the file is 751. Same with 640 files.
I can't find an option to get the tfp_sync to not touch permissions when saving,
as I don't want it to do so. Any chance you can fix this behavior?

Well It'd still be nice to skim the file before committing the hour it takes
for Matlab to import it. And I guess I should have mentioned that I'm not
deleting the first line, I need to keep it. Just move it to it's own txt file
really.
I don't know about SED, so I'll look into that. If this txt file editor thing
doesn't work I can probably get somebody to write up something in perl. I'm
guessing that what your saying is that compiling something isn't feasible.
