If your lines are all of the same length, I'd do this:
move crsor before the 1st character to delete, and alt+click there
alt+shift+down until the last line to operate on
alt+shift+end to select the whole block of text
delete
If all lines don't have the same length, repeating the procedure may help

Is there any plugin to support lirge files, like log files of few MB in size?
Though this editor is really elegant, it's performance is not impressive while
handling large files.

i downloaded the news notepad ++ and i used it on vista but then i did a format
and i tryed to use it but it will not work it will not start up so i downloaded

1v32 (2009-09-05) adds several options/features that were requested by users:
- the context menu entry can be displayed either at the top or bottom (see
options
dialog box)
- if no Acrobat program is found in the registry the PDF file is shell executed
so that you preferred read is started (note that in this way no keywordsearch
is possible)
- the "Test" button in the language edit dialog box has been renamed to a more
appropriated "Expand". A new "Test" button has been added to test the help file
in the same way as calling the "Help" from the menu.

To convert a currently open file, use Format -> Convert to UTF8 without BOM.
If the names in your files are in a variable (that's how I understand the first
part of your post), then perhaps Kaboom is a better tool for the job.

1. I cannot find 'file explorer' feature anywhere. Tried to reinstall npp, tried
to install plugins, don't help.
2. I also want to resize line number region, it is too wide, but I can't find
a way to configure it.

Hi, folks,
due to the FTP_sync hasn't been update for a long time.
I find a big issue of it.
when you download a file that has write protection, but you made smoe change
and upload it. It won't upload successfully off cource. after this occured,
if you try to downoad other file, it won't successfully sometimes, especially
for those bigger files. Only partial of the file will be downloaded.
This update has fixed the problem.
Another new option is added: you can select UTF8 ON/OFF. This is may be useful
for Chinese Character file names.
