Mechanics to be held in the Century Plaza Hotel & Spa, Los Angeles,

Dear Colleagues:

After the great success of The Sixth World Congress on Computational
Mechanics (WCCM) in Beijing in September 2004, we now are working hard to
make the Seventh WCCM an even greater success.

The Seventh WCCM, co-hosted by Northwestern University (NWU) and the
University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), will be held in the Century
Plaza Hotel & Spa, Los Angeles, California, USA, July 16-22, 2006. The
themes of the Congress include: Computational Mathematics, Computational
Bio-sciences, Computational Material Sciences, Computational
Nanotechnology, and High Performance Computing in Mechanics and Applied
Mathematics.

The Seventh WCCM technical program will feature invited plenary lectures,
mini-symposia, pre- and post-congress short courses, and vendor exhibits.
The social program will take advantage of Los Angeles' cultural diversity,
numerous museums, first class concerts and theatres, endless beaches and
marvelous weather, exciting sporting events, fine dining, and proximity to
top theme parks, famed state and national parks, and entertainment centers.
