SYMPOSIUM INFORMATION:

SBAC-PAD is an international annual conference,
started in 1987, which has continuously presented an
overview of new developments and trends in computer
architecture, parallel and distributed processing and
applications of high performance computing.

SBAC-PAD welcomes and invites practitioners,
researchers, developers, faculty members and students
around the world to submit manuscripts on all aspects
of computer architecture and high performance
computing. Topics of interest include (but are not
limited to):

. Application-Specific Architectures
. Benchmarking Performance Measurements and Analysis
. Cache and Memory Architectures
. Fault-Tolerant Architectures and Systems
. Grid Computing
. High Performance Applications
. Languages, Compilers and Tools for Parallel and
  Distributed Programming
. Large Scale Simulations
. Load Balancing and Scheduling
. Operating Systems
. Processor Microarchitectures
. Parallel and Distributed Algorithms, Architectures,
  Interconnection Networks, Routing and Communication
. Pervasive and Heterogeneous Computing
. Performance Measurements and Analysis
. Reconfigurable Systems

Manuscripts of original research, written in English,
not exceeding 8 pages in the double column IEEE style
(www.sbc.org.br/sbac/2006/ieee_style.doc), can be
uploaded via https://submissoes.sbc.org.br . Please
use only PDF or Postscript format.

All submitted works will be reviewed internationally
for quality, correctness, originality and relevance.
At least one of the authors of accepted papers must
register and present the paper at the conference.
Simultaneous submission to other journals or
conferences with published proceedings is not
allowed. The best paper in all areas and the best
in the area of Applications in High-Performance
Systems will be awarded. Furthermore, we are
negotiating with an international journal, the
publication of selected high quality papers.

Proposals of tutorials in all SBAC-PAD related areas,
from academic research to industrial applications,
are solicited. Prospective authors of tutorials are
invited to submit a preliminary proposal of a two-
hour presentation (via https://submissoes.sbc.org.br
 Category tutorial) including title, brief
description of topics to be covered, and a short
biography of the speakers.
