Upcoming Deadline: Deadline for presenting the abstract is January 31, 2017. Conference Secretariat can be contacted for any question. ECCOMAS Thematic Conferences 2017 - Upcoming deadlines XIV International Conference on Computational Plasticity. Fundamentals and Applications – COMPLAS 2017 5 – 7 September 2017, Barcelona Spain COMPLAS 2017 will celebrate the 30 th anniversary of the first COMPLAS conference, in 1987. The objectives of COMPLAS 2017 are to address both the theoretical bases for the solution of plasticity problems and the numerical algorithms necessary for efficient and robust computer implementation. COMPLAS 2017 aims to act as a forum for practitioners in the field to discuss recent advances and identify future research directions The COMPLAS Course 2017 (an ECCOMAS Advanced Course ) will take place on 4 – 5 September. Upcoming Deadline: Submission of Abstracts: 29 January 2017 For further information please contact the Secretariat . International Conference on Computational Methods in Wood Mechanics - from Material Properties to Timber Structures – CompWood 2017 7 – 9 June 2017 / Vienna, Austria The goal of CompWood is to establish a platform for knowledge exchange between scientists in the field of computational wood mechanics. Related experimental and theoretical research as well as applied research up to design solutions for practical examples are also welcome, to extend the knowledge base of this unique material. Thus, the scientific and technical areas covered by this conference are experimental investigations, numerical and analytical models, and design concepts for wood at different length scales, wood-based products, building components, and timber structures. Distinguished colleagues have already agreed to give a Keynote Lecture. Further information can be found at: http://compwood.conf.tuwien.ac.at Upcoming Deadline: Submission of Abstracts: 31 January 2017 V International Conference on Particle-based Methods. Fundamentals and Applications – PARTICLES 2017 26 – 28 September 2017 / Hannover, Germany PARTICLES 2017 will address both the fundamental basis and the applicability of state-of-the-art particle-based computational methods that can be effectively used for solving a variety of problems in engineering and applied sciences. Upcoming Deadline: Presentation of a one page abstract: February 10, 2017 For further information please contact the Secretariat . 8 th International Conference on Adaptive Modeling and Simulation – ADMOS 2017 26 - 28 June 2017 / Verbania, Italy The main goal of the ADMOS 2017 conference is to provide a forum for presenting and discussing the current state-of-the-art achievements on Adaptive Modeling and Simulation, including theoretical models, numerical methods, algorithmic strategies and challenging engineering applications. The deadline for submission of abstracts is February 13, 2017 For any question contact the Conference secretariat .
