Applications will be developed mainly for the consumer markets and will include entertainment, community, information an dlocation-based applications. The candidate will be responsible for the whole software development lifecycle through specification, implementation, release and uspport. He will also mentor juniors developers. The development headquarters are located in Rio de Janeiro (RJ). Required: A degree level eduaction in Telecommunication, Computer Science or related technical discipline; 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3+ as team leader or software architect. In-dept knowledge of object-oriented development methodologies, models (such as RUP, UML) and standards. Extensive experience in wireless application development using Java, EJB, J2EE, JSP, ASP, SQL, XML in UNIX environment. Knowledge of Oracle database and BEA Weblogic environment. General kowledge with Internet and wireless standards. Specific experience in developing entertainment/community applications (such as ganes, chat, etc..) for a wireless environment is preferred. Fluency in English is a must. Knowledge of Portuguese language is a plus.
