Cleaning up getConnector calls and I stumbled across this code. I noticed it's
not using the new CLI stuff, but I'm wondering if it's still useful. A grep of
the codebase shows no scripts reference it, but it looks like it might be used
for manual verification of results? Either we should purge it or update it to
use the CLI.
