I realize this is premature, but I wanted to bring up an Accumulo instance and
happened to have hadoop 3 running, so I gave it a try. I got it working with
the attached patch and was able to execute simple commands. I ran some
functional tests and many passed, but some failed. I haven't determined yet if
it is because I didn't have enough resources available on my laptop or if there
are other issues.
