Applies clean to 1.4.5-SNAPSHOT, but failed the merge forward to 1.5.1-SNAPSHOT
(likely through no fault of the patch). I'm putting this off until tomorrow or
the weekend. [~busbey], I assume you intended for this to apply to all of the
branches?
